How is everyone doing? Feels like time got the best of me and I haven’t been blogging much. I like to be organized and be on schedule of things. When I am not on top of things I just feel very unorganized and lazy.

Today’s blog post is about business casual. This is one of the most overused term that is being use in college. You have no idea how many events or career fairs I went during college where people would be the attire for it would be “business causal”. I think I speak for everyone when I say what is business casual. How can you be business and casual at the same thing? What is the fine line between just business and just casual. Do not fear, as I think I found the solution to it.

Business casual is just a simpler way of saying, “please don’t feel the need to wear a suit, but if you want to, it’s okay”. I know, what a long saying for just two words. Business causal for me has always been a nice fitted pants/jean with a shirt and blazer and a tie as an option. That look is ideal for what business casual usually intended for.

In this look, you can that I am keeping it business casual because of my white sneakers. The sneakers add a touch of the casual look to my blazer and jean combination business feel. Whenever I am wearing an outfit with just solid colors, I like to add some pattern or print to the mix just to add something to the look. It is really the small details to the look that add so much to an outfit. In this case it is my floral tie that I got from Ulterior Motive. They make some of the best menswear accessories that enhance outfits. It is always the small details that set you apart.
